In Defense of Christians IDC special advisor on Iraq and head of foreign relations committee of the Chaldean Syriac Assyrian Popular Council and its Washington DC representative, He is deputy Chairman of Soraya Charity Organization in Plain of Nineveh. Mikhael worked as the Operations Manager for Mines Advisory Group between 2005-2007. Prior to that, he was an interpreter at Zawita Training Center from 2003 to 2005 and an assistant to engineering section at UNESCO from 2000 to 2001. Mikhael earned his BA in English Language and Translation from St. Clements University in 2010. He speaks Arabic, English, Kurdish and Neo-Aramaic and has published several newspaper articles. He has also participated in many international conferences on the issues and challenges facing Christians in Iraq and the broader Middle East.
